Auction Rules & Policies

1. Registration

All bidders must be at least 18 years old and must register an account with FleaBid prior to participating in any auction.

2. Bidding Rules

• All bids are binding and cannot be retracted once placed.
• Bidders are responsible only for items they intend to purchase.
• False bidding or collusion will result in removal from the platform.

3. Bid Increments

Bidding increments are set automatically by FleaBid. Any bid not meeting the required increment may be rejected.

4. Buyer’s Premium & Fees

A buyer’s premium will be added to the winning bid at the rate specified in the auction listing. Additional fees such as shipping and sales tax may apply.

5. Payment Methods & Timing

Winning bidders must make payment within 6–48 hours of the auction’s close unless otherwise stated.

Payments may be made via credit card (processed by Stripe) or FleaBid account balance.

6. Pickup & Shipping Obligations

Items won must be collected or shipped by the deadline specified in the listing. Failure to pick up or pay may result in account suspension. In multi-seller auctions, FleaBid may provide routing assistance.

7. Inspection & Condition

All items are sold “as-is” and “where-is” without warranty or guarantee unless explicitly stated. Buyers are encouraged to inspect items before bidding and use the “Ask the Seller a Question” feature for clarity.

8. Prohibited Conduct & Items

Items that are illegal, stolen, or misrepresented may not be listed. Attempts to manipulate the bidding process (e.g., shill bidding) are strictly prohibited and cause for immediate removal.

9. Sales Tax

Where applicable, sales tax will be calculated based on your shipping address or state of pickup and added at checkout.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

These rules are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any legal action must be filed within California unless otherwise specified. FleaBid retains final discretion in resolving disputes.

11. Platform Rights & Cancellation

FleaBid reserves the right to cancel or postpone any auction at any time. Bidders will be notified in such events and any funds paid will be refunded.

12. Online / Internet Service Disclaimer

FleaBid cannot guarantee uninterrupted internet / online bidding services and assumes no liability for service outages, delays, or technical errors.
